2021 Walk to Cure Arthritis

Join ARD in walking to help cure Arthritis!

The 2021 Walk to Cure Arthritis will be Virtual. This means you can join in from anywhere!

Date: Sunday, May 16, 2021

Give $54. Tell 54. Move 54.

The arthritis community needs our support now more than ever. Now is the time to join the movement at the arthritis community’s premier event, Walk to Cure Arthritis. More than 54 million Americans – including 300,000 children – live with the debilitating pain and daily challenges of arthritis. This year encourage everyone you know to give 54 dollars, tell 54 people about arthritis and move 54 steps, minutes or miles – and share it all on social media.

This year’s Walk to Cure Arthritis will feature events across the country, so anyone can participate from anywhere. Tell your family, friends neighbors and co-workers to join you today!

Together, as part of the arthritis community, we can all raise the much-needed awareness and funds for life-changing treatments and resources and have fun and stay active while driving the needle closer to a cure.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Due to the rise in local coronavirus cases in our area we are asking all of our patients that have questions about how to handle this pandemic as an immunosuppressed patient to view an informational video that Johns Hopkins Rheumatology has created. You can view this video by going to You Tube and searching for COVID-19 Information for Rheumatic Disease patients or by clicking the link below.  If you have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for coronavirus, or are having any symptoms of fever, shortness of breath or cough, please do not come to your appointment and call our office to reschedule.

Inaugural Williamsburg Walk to Cure Arthritis

Despite the wet conditions, the Walk was a huge success with more than 290 participants raising over $42,000 for arthritis research and patient programs! We surpassed our $40,000 event goal –  The day would not have been possible without all the amazing walkers, volunteers, sponsors, vendors and spectators, thank you to each one of you.
